Armand Estrada: Chief Executive Officer

Armand Estrada, president of 180SQUARED, joined the company with a passionate belief that the IPTV industry is initiating the next revolution in how consumers receive and consume home entertainment content.  His vision for the company and the media industry is to help influence the evolution of the home entertainment experience and make it possible for all to enjoy easy access to multimedia content.

Armand’s role at 180SQUARED involves coordinating all of the company’s team activities, including managing customer relations, business development, software development and implementation.  Armand works to ensure that 180SQUARED’s vision of delivering an easy to use platform for any service provider is achieved every day.

With more than 25 years experience in business law, operations, legal compliance and administration with mature and start-up companies, Armand brings a breadth of experience and expertise to 180SQUARED.

Mark Cooper: Chairman and Chief Technology Officer

Mark’s responsibility at 180SQUARED is to make sure that the company’s vision aligns with the current and future state of the IPTV industry, in order to ensure that the company delivers what customers and consumers desire.

Mark co-founded 180SQUARED with a unified vision of making it possible for small, rural telecommunications companies to deliver modern TV services to their customers. Mark believes that a ubiquitous home entertainment experience, in which families get together in the living room, is possible through widespread, affordable IPTV solutions.

Mark started his extensive career in enhanced telecommunications at Pacific Bell 15 years ago where he was part of the Consumer Broadband Initiative.  Prior to founding 180SQUARED, Mark held the position of Director of Solutions Architecture at Microsoft TV, and was directly responsible for deploying Microsoft Mediaroom to AT&T.

Amir Littman:Vice President of Business Development

Amir Littman is charged with customer relations, communications, marketing and channel partner management for 180SQUARED.   Prior to 180SQUARED, Amir spent 10 years at Microsoft as the Group Manager of the Mediaroom Solutions team. While at Microsoft, his focus was on building, defining, and managing the Mediaroom Deployment organization for Tier-1service providers in North America. In addition, Amir developed and fostered a large off-shore business unit responsible for assisting in Mediaroom deployment services. During his tenure, Amir received many awards; one of which was Microsoft Customer Hero Award, which demonstrated his dedication to customer satisfaction within Microsoft.
 
When Amir recognized the market opportunity in extending IPTV to underserved Tier-2 and Tier-3 service providers, he left Microsoft and co-founded 180SQUARED.  Working with the engineering team, he helped build a platform that reduces the time, complexity, and costs of deploying IPTV for service providers of all sizes. Amir strongly believes that one major benefit of IPTV is it will be an essential provider of entertainment and educational services to developing countries around the world.
 
Amir received his education from the University of Rhode Island where he majored in information management systems with a minor in Jazz Guitar.

Bryan Wassom: Vice President - Sales

Bryan Wassom’s passion for disruptive technology brought him to the 180SQUARED team based on his excitement for the company’s concept and the potential he recognizes in the IPTV industry.  Bryan will serve as the company’s primary liaison with new and existing clients to ensure they are exposed to the newest products and services 180SQUARED has to offer.  He will also leverage his 20 years of sales experience in technology to devise and implement innovative sales strategies, business models and technologies into 180SQUARED’s daily processes. 

Prior to joining 180SQUARED, Bryan’s experience in the IPTV sector included roles with World Wide Packets and Alcatel-Lucent where he worked with customers in the Municipal, Utility and Telecom markets. Bryan has held a variety of high tech sales positions and management spanning the Telecom, IT, Semiconductor and Electronic Design Automation industries.  

Outside of the technology world, Bryan enjoys hiking and the outdoors, photography and fine-tuning his real estate investment skills.

Robert Carlson: Vice President - Product and Services Delivery

Robert Carlson is the day-to-day manager of all customer service programs, including delivery services and implementation.  Robert manages a team of 12 technical professionals in the field, ensuring that all 180SQUARED software deployments happen seamlessly and on time. 

Robert has an extensive background in technical services and customer relationship management.  He worked with the U.S. military intelligence, command and control systems department for 12 years before moving into a career with Microsoft and eventually 180SQUARED. While working with Microsoft Consulting Services, Robert was responsible for reducing the standard deployment time from 12 weeks to 6 weeks.

Fred Wade: Vice President of Engineering

Fred Wade is responsible for the development team and implementing the overall product strategy of 180SQUARED.  He is the architectural designer for 180SQUARED’s v.Maestro platform and v.Harmonizer OSS and BSS modules for integration into IPTV Middleware. Fred specializes in Windows programming, back-end programming, OSS/BSS platforms, video-delivery, and designing management & integration systems. 

Fred began his career working on the Microsoft TV product team in 1999.  Although the market wasn’t ready for it at the time, Fred spent 8 years working with Microsoft TV, helping turn it into the robust, next-generation platform that Mediaroom is today.

Fred studied at Georgetown University majoring in Psychology with a minor in Computer Science. He has traveled to over 20 different countries and enjoys hiking, producing electronic music and spinning records in his spare time.
