180SQUARED® is addressing third party software developers’ concerns over the investment necessary to write applications for constantly changing IPTV middleware platforms.

180SQUARED currently provides its v.Maestro™ customers with access to its Application Programming Interfaces (APIs), which enable the Customer or their designated vendor to write applications for integration into the Microsoft Mediaroom platform utilizing the consistent API sets and the policing and QoS engines of the underlying 180SQUARED® Framework.

180SQUARED® v.Composer SDK, to be available in 2011, will extend access to the v.Maestro APIs to third party vendors through a software development kit. The SDK will provide the same consistent set of APIs, documentation and support. Vendors will have the confidence that their application can retain the highest level of stability and foundation required by service providers and can be independently marketed.
